Collectie Porselein
“Van 2010 tot 2013 woonde en werkte ik op het Caribische eiland Curaçao. De Caribische invloed is vanaf die tijd duidelijk te zien in mijn collecties. Koraalstructuren en Koraalbloesems in matwit zilveren sieraden refereren aan de witte koraalstenen die aanspoelen op het strand.
In 2020 neemt mijn werk weer een nieuwe wending en vervang ik het zilver door porselein, iets wat ik al lang eens wilde proberen. Het matte wit van het porselein komt perfect tot zijn recht in deze nieuwe creaties. Met als bonus het prachtige halfdoorzichtige karakter van dit materiaal.“

Collection Porcelaine
"From 2010 to 2013 I lived and worked on the Caribbean Island of Curaçao. From this time onward there is an apparent influence in my collections. Coral structures and 'Coral Flowerings' in matt white silver remind of the white coral stones that wash up on the shores.
In 2020 I take a new turn and replace the silver with porcelaine; something I wanted to try for a while. After some experiments this new collection evolves. The matt white of the porcelaine stands out perfectly in these new creations, with the bonus of the beautiful semi-transparent qualities of this material."
