Tijdens de derde week van juni staat de westhoek van Schouwen traditioneel in het teken van de KUNSTSCHOUW.

In een omgeving van uitgestrekte zandstranden, het grootste bos van Zeeland, polders en dijken onderbroken door mooie dorpen, strijken jaarlijks in juni zo’n 200 kunstenaars neer uit binnen- en buitenland. Dit jaar ben ik er daar één van, want mijn werk is geselecteerd voor dit evenement. Jullie kunnen mijn presentatie vinden in het kerkje van Noordwelle, een schattig dorpje iets ten zuiden van de badplaats Renesse. Dit evenement wordt jaarlijks door duizenden kunstliefhebbers bezocht en het is zeker de moeite waarde om Zeeland te bezoeken en bijvoorbeeld op de fiets langs de tientallen verschillende locaties te gaan. De locaties zijn van 15 t/m 23 juni open maar ik ben niet continu aanwezig. Als je wilt komen wanneer ik er zelf ook ben, kun je mij het beste even mailen in de week ervoor. In the third week of June the west of Schouwen (in the province of Zeeland) traditionally hosts the Kunstschouw, an extensive international art event. Here you can find long sandy beaches, sand dunes, Zeeland’s largest forest, extensive polders, dikes and beautiful villages. Every year about 200 artists, from home and abroad, swoop down on this varied landscape, followed on foot by thousands of art lovers. This year I will be one of the participants with an exhibition in the church of the tiny village of Noordwelle. You are very welcome at the Kunstschouw, rent a bike and visit the dozens of locations with interesting art exhibitions. The locations are open every day from 15 to 23 June.
